Job Description:
We are seeking experienced filmmakers and photographers from Afghanistan, Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, Sudan, and Tunisia to join our global team. The ideal candidates will have a strong portfolio of work in the Third Sector and a passion for creating content that supports social justice, humanitarian efforts, and community development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with international and local teams to produce compelling visual content for various campaigns and initiatives.
- Capture high-quality videos, photos and written stories that tell a story and engage diverse audiences.
- Work closely with Reelmedia to understand the project requirements and convey stories visually.
- Travel to various locations, often in challenging environments, to document stories and events as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in filmmaking or photography, specifically within the Third Sector.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in social impact storytelling, including examples of work with non-profits, NGOs, or community projects.
- Proficient in photography/videography equipment and have your own equipment, shooting in minimum 4K 422.
- Have a high-speed internet connection to send footage.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel and work in varied environments.
