Sinclair Volkswagen Swansea, part of the Sinclair Group, are looking for a motivated, customer-focused individual to join our Sales Team selling New & Used Vehicles

Position: Vehicle Sales Executive

Contract Type: Permanent / Full-time

Hours of work: A fixed two-week rota which includes working every other weekend and a day off in the week – average 5 days a week.

Position Pays: Targeted income of £42,500 with an uncapped earning potential plus a company car.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Sales Executive to join our Volkswagen dealership in Swansea. Swansea, is one of the largest Retail focused Volkswagen dealerships in the UK, renowned for its high performing, customer centric approach. You will be representing the UK’s best-selling car brand. Working as part of a team and reporting to the General Sales Manager. This position is offered on a full-time basis covering 7 days a week on a rota basis, averaging 5 days per week.

Your duties will include:

As a Sales Executive you will be representing both Sinclair Group and the Volkswagen Brand. Working as part of the Sales Team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end customer experience, working alongside our excellent handover team.

Day to day you will :

  • Respond to queries from new and existing customers relating to new and used vehicle sales
  • Guide customers through their purchase, providing outstanding customer service as the face of both Sinclair and the Volkswagen brand.
  • Meet individual sales targets by maximising upsell and cross-sell opportunities on finance and insurance products and optional extras
  • Presenting all products in a consistent, unbiased manner and always leading to good customer outcomes
  • Assist in ensuring a steady flow of enquiries from multiple channels through prospecting and marketing
  • Maintain a specialist knowledge of manufacturer vehicles and options, participating in regular knowledge updates
  • Manage the vehicle handover process, ensuring compliance with process
  • Adhere to Sinclair Group’s and industry regulations relating to the sale of vehicles, finance and insurance.

The ideal applicant will have a successful sales background and demonstrate a confident manner when speaking with customers.

The key attributes that we would look for are:

  • Proven track record of upper tier sales performance and able to evidence
  • Well-spoken and ability to communicate clearly
  • Able to organise a busy schedule and coordinate multiple variable factors
  • Higher level of I.T. literacy and able to utilise full Microsoft suite and able to operate several web-based applications, and iPad
  • Full U.K. drivers’ licence
  • Able to confidently present yourself in video format and present products in a way that will generate interest
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Punctual, well presented and reliable
  • Influencing skills, with the ability and confidence to convert enquiries into sales
  • Brilliant customer service experience, to build long term relationships
  • Fantastic listening skills to understand customer requirements and needs
  • A willingness to learn and develop your product knowledge
  • Professionalism, with a commitment to adhere to process and procedure
