We are looking for an organised, conscientious, and friendly individual to lead on the delivery of the Mid-Cornwall Moors recovery project’s community and volunteer engagement activities.

This is a cross-organisation nature recovery project which will create, restore, and connect
Mid-Cornwall Moor habitats (including connecting farmland), increasing species abundance and
working with schools and communities in the area to get more people connected with and taking
action for nature.
This role will work collaboratively with local groups and organisations in the project area
to:
- Engage local children and young people with their natural environment to increase their
connection with and build their understanding of local nature and wildlife. - Recruit, train and manage project volunteers to work on habitat intervention and / or
species and habitat surveying. - Coordinate the structured monitoring programme across the project using trained volunteers,
establishing a structured framework that can continue beyond the project.
This role is fixed term, working 37.5 hours per week.
