Join an organisation with a passion for purpose, who are delivering primary healthcare to the homeless communities across Australia.

This role presents the opportunity to be part of a small but mighty head office team and broader volunteer cohort that are doing incredible things on a daily basis.

Street Side Medics is in a high growth phase, with the overall goal of being able to provide care to the homeless community right across Australia. What that means for you is, you will have the opportunity to get involved in some exciting projects, alongside your day to day duties as the organisation continues to scale.

We are a not-for-profit, GP led mobile medical service for those who are vulnerable or experiencing homelessness.

We collaborate with pre-existing homelessness charities, shelters, and services to provide primary healthcare specifically for this cohort.

Currently operating from several sites across Sydney on a regular weekly basis (with plans to grow interstate in the near future), each clinic is staffed by skilled volunteers who work from a well-equipped mobile medical van, providing a primary health care service to the standard of a normal General Practice.

Our Vision is to deliver better health and wellbeing outcomes for people who are vulnerable or experiencing homelessness.

Street Side Medics is a Registered Charity and is largely volunteer run.

You are a self-motivated team player with a knack for working independently and pivoting to different areas of need each day. You have a passion for connecting with a diverse range of people, from specialist doctors to those without a place to call home, and giving them all the respect, they deserve.

Our team of volunteers is the heart of our mission, and we’re looking for a Volunteer Coordinator who can help us expand and cultivate a professional yet fun volunteering culture.
