Volunteer Opportunities

According to the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, the UK has entered this election year with ‘unacceptably high levels of poverty’ and the future remains ‘deeply worrying’.

Across the world nearly 10% of the global population, about 700 million people, live in extreme poverty and experts predict these figures will continue to rise as a result of the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 crisis, conflicts and extreme weather.

There is clearly much to do and at People against Poverty we are driven and determined to do more in 2024 and beyond! This is an exciting time to join us as we seek to expand what we do to help more people in the UK and overseas find their pathway out of poverty.

We are a small charity, but we have a big impact in the places where we work, an impact which is tangible and demonstrable in the lives of those we support.

In 2024 we want to build on this – by expanding the success of our existing projects, and, through new partnerships, developing others.

We need your help to achieve this.
