meaningful and enjoyable experience. They will be responsible for working with our other
country and regional VDOs and the Head Office Volunteering Development team to create and help
deliver a volunteering strategy for the region that responds to regional need, adapts to the
changing trends in volunteering, and maximises opportunities for volunteers to add value to our
work.

Our Volunteering Development Officer will work across Northern Ireland, to deliver volunteer
events, develop woodland working groups, support the management of volunteers, build skills and
knowledge across our volunteer force locally, develop opportunities to engage with youth
volunteers and manage the Northern Ireland volunteer speaker programme.
