Event Support Worker

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Contract:  Casual contract for up to 6 months with potential for extension

Hours: Between 6-18 hours per month

Events are delivered during the day, between the hours of 10:00-15:00 with
travelling and set up time.

Location: Mobile within the locations of the Midlands and the North West of
England

You can be part of an iconic and dynamic environmental campaigning charity, providing
first-class solutions to today’s big environmental problems.

As the volunteer event facilitator, you will deliver of our Litter Picking events – this
involves:

  • Providing the Health and Safety Briefing at the beginning of sessions
  • Accompanying volunteers while they remove litter
  • Transporting and providing the right equipment so participants can remove litter safely
  • Ensuring an enjoyable, fun and safe experience for all participants
  • Working with venues to ensure that all collected litter is disposed of in accordance with
    the requirements of the partner
