Job purpose:

The Warehouse and Logistics Operative is responsible for performing a range of order fulfilment and warehouse functions.

Responsibilities

Performs all order fulfillment and warehouse functions such as shipping, receiving, stocking, storing and inventory of materials to ensure that company warehousing needs are met.

Receives material and verifies count against documents to ensure that all materials are received according to agreed quantities.

Processes requests for items, pulls and assembles kits for shipping, prepares and packs items for shipment to ensure that all items are addressed and shipped to appropriate locations.

Assists in loading and unloading shipments and ensures that all items are catalogued and then placed in appropriate locations in the warehouse.

Contacts business unit personnel, courier services, vendors and other relevant parties to ensure accurate delivery and pick-up of all shipment.

Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment

Collate statistics and maintain records

Meet daily targets for all devices

Highlight risks and opportunities

Prioritise tasks to facilitate shipping to meet or exceed deadlines

Requirements:

Communication skills to communicate with business unit personnel, staff and management

Ability to lift and move shipments and equipment

Ability to operate hand truck or other mechanized material handling equipment – training will be provided

Work Environment: Office or warehouse environment

Completion of background investigation

Ability to work under pressure

Strong accurate Data Entry Skills required

Good moral character

Positive work history and work ethic

Available to work extended hours as required

Has the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
