The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our goods in/ out. Working closely with all BID stakeholders the successful candidate will oversee the dispatch of all finished products, maintain stock control, and uphold the highest standards.Duties will include:· Overseeing existing procurement, goods in/out and transport functions.· Ensuring the efficient procurement, storage and distribution of parts, materials and finished products, with a view to continuous improvement in all areas.· Liasing with production, transport, and site operations to implement strategies to improve goods out and ensure timely and efficient dispatch.· Overseeing the fitting out of the storage and distribution warehouse to optmise storage and racking facilities.· Ensuring good housekeeping, cleanliness, and tidiness within the warehouse on a day-to-day basis.· Ensuring adequate stock levels at all times, including regional stock holding sites.· Sourcing and implementing a stock system which integrates with existing IT systems.· Assist in the implementation of new projects, their goals, and objectives as required.· Other ad hoc duties as necessary.Previous experience within in a similar role would be a distinct advantage, as would a manufacturing background.
