WAREHOUSE SERVICES ASSISTANT

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) actively seeking qualified candidates for the position of Warehouse Services Assistant who will be responsible for tracking non-capital and capital goods surplused. Also, ensure University compliance with federal grants and state laws regarding the release of property. Lastly, be able to update the status of capitalization items or items in the trackable systems.

Salary Range: $15.00-$15.45

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed with a Driver’s License from the State of Alabama required. The ideal candidate must be able to lift 25 lbs, walk and stand for long periods, work in a warehouse environment, have the ability to lift and ease of mobility, and drive a forklift or learn.
