Your Role
Looking to fill a warehouse management position at a Vinnies Return and Earn warehouse in Penrith 2750. Reporting to the CDS Area Manager, this permanent full-time role is responsible for leading the overall operations at the site, and a team of warehouse assistants/ production hands. You will have well-rounded knowledge and experience relevant to the role and proven people leadership skills.
Your Responsibility
- Supervise, coach, train, motivate team members and ensure their maximum productivity
- Assign, plan and delegate workflow activities of the warehouse, including staffing requirements
- Ensure WHS procedures are followed at all times by workers and visitors
- Monitor, coordinate bulk bin collections and safe truck movement on site by service partner
- Coordinate repairs, cleaning and maintenance of warehouse equipment
- Schedule and coordinate disposal of waste items as appropriate
- Provide relevant reports and work closely with management matter as needed.
You Will Need
- Demonstrated experience as Warehouse supervisor; proven leadership skills
- Experience in negotiation, conflict management skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Demonstrated understanding of WHS and effective implementation of safety procedures
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Current Driver Licence and Forklift Licence.
