Context/Reporting line:

Under the general guidance of the Programme Coordinator (MHPSS), the overall supervision of the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Officer, the administrative supervision of the Head of Sub Office (HoSO), and the direct supervision of the Senior Project Assistant-MHPSS, the successful candidates will be responsible for the following duties:

Core Functions / Responsibilities

1. Watching the community, the community centers and all the assets in the centers during working hours.
2. Supporting the staff in the implementation of activities during the working hours
3. Keeping the gate of the centers open during the working hours.
4. Guiding the beneficiaries to ongoing activities at the center.
5. Reporting and providing feedback related to the safety issues to the community center Team leader.
6. Maintain that the community center and all the assets are safe at night.
7. Ensure that confidentiality and the right to privacy is maintained about confidential information.

8. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Required Qualifications

 

Education:

• High school diploma with relevant experience in security services; or
• University degree in a relevant field.

 

Experience and Skills:

• Experience in similar context in the field.
• Experience in communicating and working with a wide range of people including people of culturally diverse backgrounds.
• Basic experience in monitoring facilities or guarding premises
• Experience supporting events or daily activities is a plus

 

Languages:

• Fluency in Arabic is required.
• Working knowledge of English is an advantage.
