About the role:
The Web Content Editor is responsible for planning, overseeing and coordinating digital content development and production across web channels, to amplify the impact of Deakin’s research, to build reputation and brand and generate demand for Higher Degree Research (HDR).
The role oversees web content publishing needs for range of research and innovation initiatives and works collaboratively with content writers, freelance content contributors, and research experts to develop and curate compelling and engaging content for the Deakin website and research content hub.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the overall quality and consistency of Deakin’s research content, ensuring that the website effectively engages audiences and aligns with strategic priorities. The Web Content Editor will manage the ongoing maintenance of web content review and work collaboratively with the Web Content Writer, the Public Web Team and broader Marketing Division, as well as Deakin’s research stakeholder community, to ensure the public facing research website remains up-to-date and meets changing needs and hub goals.
