As a part of the shop AT
NAIT team, the Web and Mail Order Service Representative plays a pivotal
role in offering excellent customer service that supports the growth and
success of our online storefront
shop.nait.ca . The
successful candidate is expected to represent NAIT in a positive professional

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide
    excellent customer service for online and special orders, and address
    questions, requests, and concerns received in person, email, or by phone.
    Process
    orders in a friendly and efficient manner, offering optimal service that
    continues the growth of online/mail order sales.
  • Work
    with the warehouse team for the shipping and receiving of customer orders.
  • Ensure
    online store details are accurate and applicable, and provide feedback for
    online store enhancements, changes, and efficiencies.
  • Support
    established processes and policies and provide feedback for enhancing business
    objectives and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure
    knowledge of required learning materials for challenging apprenticeship exams
    is current.
  • Assist
    the customer experience and warehouse teams to help ensure business success and
    customer satisfaction.

 

Skills
& Abilities:

  • Excellent
    skills in customer service and teamwork.
  • Must
    have strong verbal and written communication skills that are both professional
    and friendly.
  • Proficient
    working knowledge of Microsoft Office is necessary to be successful in the
    role.
  • Strong
    knowledge of products and learning materials in order to confidently support
    customers.
  • The
    ability to learn and follow established guidelines and procedures, including
    PCI regulations, NAIT policies, and copyright legislation.
  • Flexibility
    with scheduling, including the ability to work increased hours during peak
    periods and to work some evening and weekend shifts.
  • Must
    be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Completion of grade 12.
  • Related certificate.
  • Experience in retail or customer service environment;
    preference will be given to those with experience fulfilling online customer
    orders.
  • Customer service related training courses.
  • Equivalence may be considered.

 

Remuneration: $41,486.38
– $51,603.24 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification –
Customer Service Rep ll).                           

This
position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE)
Collective Agreement.
