Additional Tasks may include measuring elevations with an RTK GPS survey unit, updating maps with ArcGIS Pro, managing the District’s website with WordPress, editing and writing the quarterly newsletter in Microsoft Publisher, conducting biological and hydrological surveys, and supporting meetings and events.

The applicant should have a background in wetland ecology and waterfowl management, with experience working with wetland landowners, managers, and government agency staff. Familiarity with wetland plant species in the Suisun Marsh is preferred.

Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in wildlife biology, ecology, or similar sciences; knowledge of wetlands and waterfowl preferred; proven ability to work well in small and diverse teams, experience working with diverse land managers and agencies; proven experience completing reports, and background conducting wetland or similar fieldwork.
