The Role:
We are seeking a talented, engaged, and driven Wish Administrator to join the team. Working in the Wish team, the Wish Administrator holds a pivotal role in two core stages of a child’s wish journey. Firstly, you are the initial point of contact for Make-A-Wish families and medical specialists throughout the wish application stage. Secondly, you are responsible for completing activities in the post wish design approval process. You will play a crucial role in facilitating exceptional experiences for all individuals while they are in these stages of the wish journey.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the intake and processing of applications ensuring completeness and accuracy of information provided
- Conduct thorough evaluations of application details to assess eligibility
- Proficiency in accurate and efficient data entry is a fundamental aspect of this role
- Communicate status and progress of wishes to key stakeholders
- Using internal systems & software for managing tasks/projects
- Maintain stakeholder engagement
- Ensure all families have a seamless and quality experience, providing exceptional customer service and empathy throughout the wish journey.
This exciting opportunity will suit someone who has a passion for giving, is detail orientated and has exceptional communication and organisation skills, who also enjoys being creative and using their imagination to create exceptional wish experiences.
The position will enable you to play a critical role in making wishes possible for children in Australia.
About you:
- You have exceptional organisation and time management skills with the ability to multi task and be agile
- Previous experience in a fast-paced medical administration or customer service role is highly preferred
- Proven experience applying creative and critical thinking to problem-solving and effective stakeholder management
- Your attention to detail is critical to this roleto ensure accuracy in documentation, data entry, and administrative tasks
- Task orientated with strong project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with and across teams, as well as the ability to work independently
- Good communication and influencing skills
- Strong work ethic, self-driven and proactive
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software with experience using Salesforce being desirable
- Mature, reliable, and trustworthy with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handling data securely.
