As the Clinical Director of Maternal Child Services, you will be at the forefront of healthcare leadership in Bermuda, providing both clinical and strategic leadership across the Maternal Child Directorate. You’ll be instrumental in driving the delivery of safe, high-quality care while shaping the strategic direction of the service. • Provide visible and professional leadership in clinical settings, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Lead the strategic development and business planning of the Maternal Child Services, aligning initiatives with organizational goals and community needs.
• Translate strategic plans into actionable objectives, managing their implementation within budget and timelines.
• Oversee the production of quality and compliance data, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement performance improvement plans to address operational gaps and enhance service delivery.
• Manage fiscal plans and human resources strategies, ensuring alignment with both current and future needs of the directorate.
• Focus on staff training and succession planning, fostering a positive work culture that aligns with the organization’s values.
• Engage in effective communication and staff management, maintaining a supportive and motivating environment for team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Master’s Degree from an accredited institution, approved by the Bermuda Nursing Council.
• 7 to 10 years of progressive management experience in a Maternal Child Services setting.
• A proven track record in clinical management and senior leadership potential.
• Strong experience in financial and risk management, quality improvement, and patient satisfaction.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
• Current registration with the Bermuda Nursing Council.
