Job DescriptionWorkday Integrations AnalystReporting of the RoleThis role reports to the Director of Group ApplicationsOverview of Job3 years into its Workday FINS journey, Global is looking for a Workday Integration Analyst to support the required transformational change to take the platform through stabilisation, to optimisation.You will help ensure Global is maximising the full potential of innovation and delivering Global’s Workday platform strategic objectives of1) Build a better foundation2) Supercharge the Workday flows3) Elevate insights that matter; to4) Create Meaningful momentsThis position fully supports, maintains & enhances the existing integrations across Workday Financials, PRISM and Adaptive as well as assist with the development and maintenance of any new integrations. This role will build advance technical knowledge of Workday across all module areas and will involve working closely with and building relationships with key partners across our Finance, Workday & Commercial Technology team.You will rigorously apply Global’s Workday platform principles to generate value realisation of Global’s Workday & PRISM investment:· Applying ESSA (Eliminate, Simplify, Standardise, Automate).· Driving Self-serve.· Maximising Power of One.· Ensuring 2 in the box partnership with the finance function3 best things about the jobSupport the stabilisation and optimisation of Global’s Workday integrations, playing a pivotal role in Finance & Commercial Technology transformationsCollaborate with a dynamic Workday team and partner with diverse finance stakeholders to deliver meaningful changes through a rigorous pursuit of innovationYou will work with leading technology in a fast paced, agile environment. You will learn, upskill and develop your technical prowess whilst benefitting from a very rare opportunity to obtain certifications and experience in highly desirable areas of Workday.Measures of Success –In the First Few Months, You Would Have:Developed a comprehensive understanding of the current PRISM billing solution & taken (shared) ownership of the business critical monthly technical billing process.Built strong relationships with key stakeholders in Technology and Finance, immersing yourself in our active Commercial Technology & Finance transformation projectsLearnt current integration configuration, with the ability to understand, analyse and troubleshootGot hands on with ServiceNow, the support ticket portalWorked through the integrations’ landscape, understanding the touchpoints between Commercial Technology, Workday HCM, Payroll & FINSResponsibilities of the RoleShared ownership of the business critical monthly technical billing processSubject Matter Expert on Workday Finance integrations EIB/Core-Connectors, Studio, BIRT, Webservices) and JitterbitSupport the stabilisation & optimisation of the current Workday Finance integration estateProvide BAU support to the business on Workday integrations,Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve all integration issues as they arise, either individually or through collaboration with others, ensuring all incidents are resolved in a timely mannerDesign and configure new integrations to stakeholder’s expectations and requirementsReview and maintain existing integrations to ensure they are fit for purpose, applying continuous improvement mentalityTest lead for Integrations in relation to Workday’s bi-annual release updatesWork closely with Workday FINS & the Finance team to foster a collaborative and innovative environment.Manage WD Finance stakeholders of all levels – CFO, Exec FD’s, Finance Leads, Analysts, Transactional processors.Apply Global’s principles (ESSA: Eliminate, Simplify, Standardize, Automate) to ensure value realization of Globals Workday investment.What you will needThe ideal candidate will be proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions, capable of the following:Workday deep functional and technical knowledge & best practicesProven track record of designing and implementing Workday integrations.Experience with integration builds – core connectors, EIB, Studio, BIRT, WebservicesExperience with XML, XSLT, Java, Python, REST, SOAP and other programming languagesAbility to understand end-user needs and independently design effective ‘to be’ solutions that drive positive business change.Experience leading a solutioning framework of 1) documenting the ‘as is’ issues (through problem statements & metrics); 2) designing a principle driven ‘to be’ solution (through robust design principles with limited exceptions, solution statements, metrics), & 3) executing the solution to completion (expediting quick wins)Be a ‘changemaker’- tenacious appetite to drive transformational change – pushing boundaries of WD FINS through maximising innovations, limiting focus on ‘incidents’ to create capacity to deliver enhancement initiatives.Fundamental belief in Global’s Workday platform principles.Continuous improvement mentality – ‘better today than yesterday’Highly inquisitive to learn the Workday ‘art of the possible’ & put into practice.Self-starter, Proactive not reactive, don’t wait for the ‘knock on the door’.Fearless to expedite change where appropriate, within acceptable risk.Exceptional Upward & Downward Communication – verbal and written.Robust, with high levels of personal resilience and capable of working in a demanding, fast-paced and dynamic environment, dealing with conflicting requirements and competing priorities.Everyone is welcome at GlobalJust like our media and entertainment platforms are for everyone, so are our workplaces.
