Job description

  • Full time or part time – your choice – Maximum term role to 31 Dec 2024.
  • Hybrid work arrangements – WFH + 3-4 days per month at one of our offices.
  • $70k + Super + Leave Loading (pro-rata for part time).
  • Increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits.

As part of the P&C function, the Workforce Experience (WX) team exists to support Uniting to create and sustain an engaged, included and valued workforce.

As WX Program Coordinator, you will deliver effective coordination, administration and reporting for Uniting-wide programs focused on workforce wellbeing, induction, recognition and people leadership.

A pivotal role in the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing leadership and induction program scheduling, event calendars, communication and bookings
  • Designing and coordinating workforce experience surveys and reporting
  • Developing and delivering workforce recognition program scheduling, reporting and analysis
  • Providing pro-active support across all programs, including being the point of contact for program queries and managing program inboxes
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to optimise program delivery
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships to support successful program delivery

What’s on offer

We believe in true flexibility where you are measured on your achievements and outputs. Some face-to-face interaction is important for team workshops, engaging with our internal customers and some program delivery, typically 3-4 days per month.

With program delivery across Victoria and Tasmania, you can be located anywhere and choose to work from home or a site that’s convenient. Or, you can head into our Melbourne CBD office and interact with the wider P&C Team.

This role is ideal for an established L&OD Coordinator (or administration guru from another field!) who is looking for an opportunity to build a career in Workforce Experience/Learning and Organisational Development.

About you

You are self-reliant, enjoy working autonomously whilst being part of a supportive and collaborative team, and have a curious mindset that sees you ask questions to understand more deeply. You have a passion for coordination and a flair for accuracy, attention-to-detail, and organisation. A positive, solutions-focussed attitude and approach helps you to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You’ll also bring with you:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (with advanced Excel skills) and high level of confidence and aptitude in working with systems.
  • Solid administration and coordination skills, with attention to detail and demonstrable ability to proactively plan and deliver high quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success in previous coordination roles, with working style that anticipates and delivers concurrent high-quality outputs in an environment of changing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive team culture.
  • While not essential, experience in the delivery of leadership or induction programs, workforce recognition, performance management, wellbeing, and/or workforce surveys (particularly via Culture Amp®) will be viewed favourably.
