As a Cluster Product Lead (Discovery) for our flagship platform LSEG Workspace, you will drive the development of new features that will enhance customer experiences. Reporting directly to the Head of Product, you will provide leadership and direction for multiple squads made up of Product Managers, UX and Technology.This leader utilizes a deep understanding of our customer base to develop the strategy and vision for the core Workspace product: the flagship user experience for LSEG’s data, content and analytics. This leader partners with each business line to understand their strategies and aligns the Workspace program to execute optimally to meet the needs of our internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that Workspace is the market leader in the industry. The leader directs their Cluster to achieve the strategic OKRs of the program. Additionally, this leader will act as a key member of the team defining LSEG’s partnership with Microsoft, envisioning and driving competitive differentiators in conjunction with our partners.What you’ll be doing

  • Lead and manage an autonomous, cross-functional Cluster within LSEG Workspace
  • Develop a clear cluster vision and strategy aligned with the overall objectives for LSEG Workspace
  • Accountable for the Objectives & Key Results for the team and represent the cluster in quarterly review meetings
  • Lead the Cluster in modern agile product practices, empowering and developing Cluster members, and striving for continuous improvement
  • Manage, coach & mentor a team of multi-disciplined Product Managers in shaping and building products
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovate solutions for discovery and personalization
  • Help squads derive outcome-based roadmaps and release plans from the vision and strategy and translate them into key results
  • Ensure all Product Roadmaps are prioritized, owned, maintained and communicated
  • Delivery of large-scale platform efforts and components for common functionality to support multiple communities
  • Work with squad members to create a productive and innovative environment
  • Grow, lead, develop and motivate high performing cross-functional teams of developers, data scientists, product managers, designers, and marketers
  • Embed a data-informed process so your team can make fast good decisions
  • Ensure LSEG Workspace products are commercially viable by deeply understanding the organisation’s commercial strategies and its influence in the market. May contribute to LSEG’s commercial strategy by bringing thought leadership to LSEG
  • Build effective relationships to ensure the success of the project
  • Effectively communicates highly complex ideas at multiple organizational levels and modifies personal approach and style to reflect changing circumstance

What you’ll need

  • 10 years+ experience as a Senior Product Leadership position
  • Extensive experience of working in large matrix organisation
  • Experience of building large scale client facing platforms and applications
  • Experience of machine learning and recommendation algorithms
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to drive personalization initiatives
  • Familiarity with implementing A/B testing & feedback mechanisms
  • Working with senior stakeholders in technology, product and business
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to work across different functions e.g. architecture, product teams, data scientists, proposition teams and project managers
