Job Description:

The position provides support to the implementation of the livelihoods related activities in the World Vision Programme in Malaita. It also requires building and coaching other staff on livelihoods good programming practice so they can deliver the programme in the communities according to plan and with the greatest impact. The YSED Project Coordinator is also responsible for building networks and capacity of other partners and stakeholders in order to ensure sustainability of programme impact. In this programme the focus of the support on livelihoods is to: coordinate all trainings on agriculture/fishing practices, establishment of market linkages, financial planning and savings, and provide technical support at the community level to collectives.
The position will be based in Malaita Area Program and would be expected to spend around 75% of the time in the target communities
