Worship Leader

The Worship Leader role is to oversee, develop and direct the musical aspect of worship within the life and ministry of the Lee Abbey Community and its guests. The Worship Leader will have overall responsibility for training and encouraging those who have gifts in music and worship. You will be able to lead from piano and/or guitar and voice. A heart for worship, leadership skills and the ability to relate well to people are essential. Administrative skills are necessary.

The role is part of the Mission & Ministry Team, and you will work collaboratively with others in the team, Team Leaders and Welcome Team. Although the role of Worship Leader will be one of your main responsibilities you will also take an active role in the creative, worship and serving aspects of our life in Community and welcoming our guests to Lee Abbey. Closing date for applications is 7th March 2025.

The position is residential (3 years) with appropriate allowance, accommodation and full board provided.
