Context

The Learning Passport platform has undergone a very rapid expansion in the past few months. In 2023, the Learning Passport expanded to 38 countries, with significant growth in the total number of registered users (6.02 million) and courses offered (13,529). Notable achievements in 2023 included launches in seven new countries (Brazil, Eswatini, Ghana, Guinea, Jamaica, Philippines, and São Tomé and Príncipe) and significant increases in the number of trained users (to 2.73 million) and course completions (to 2.49 million).

Task description

We are looking for 2 passionate Online Volunteer/s who under the guidance of the Programme Specialist (digital Education) will support our work by writing some blog articles and
In particular, the Online Volunteers will be asked to:
– Write 6 to 8 stories and blog articles for online platforms (Internet of Good Things, Learning Passport, UNICEF website)
– Compress 10/15 videos and/or pictures for use on feature phones
– Publish above content online on different CMS (Drupal, Wagtail)
– Review user interviews and photos as necessary for inclusion in stories, blog articles
– Write 10/15 social media posts to promote the articles on multiple social media platforms
The Online Volunteer/s will have the opportunity to build connections with the Learning Passport team at UNICEF and learn about the ways in which Digital education is scaled.
