Youth Corps Team Leader

Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department is seeking to hire 12 Youth Corps Team Leader. Team Leader (TL) is a temporary, supervisory level classification with the Boulder County Youth Corps summer program. Team Leaders supervise a team of up to 10 adolescents aged 14-17 at a variety of work sites for eight weeks and mentor the development of personal accomplishment, teamwork, and service to the community through outdoor stewardship and conservation projects.

This is a hourly, non-benefited position. The Youth Corps season will be June 2nd through August 2025. This position will work Monday –  Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm during training, and typically Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 5:00pm and Friday 9:00am – 11am during the season. This position will work out of Boulder or Longmont, Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is non-exempt (eligible for overtime). 

Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
