Can you help young people make a meaningful connection to nature? Are you eager to make
sure they can make a difference to environmental issues and a sustainable future?

We are looking for someone who has the skills and attitude to enable a diverse audience of
young people to experience the special qualities of the New Forest National Park and local
community spaces. We want someone who values the unique perspectives of young people and
believes they can make a difference, to help us unlock their abilities and influence.

The youth engagement co-ordinator will be building relationships with local groups and
individuals from underrepresented communities, organising youth volunteering opportunities,
leading our Junior ranger programme and enabling young people to share their messages with
others.

If your life and work experience has given you strengths in understanding perspectives,
supporting learning, making great ideas possible and you like working outdoors, then please

A range of qualifications and experience will be considered since you
might be a youth worker, outdoor leader, mentor, or something entirely different. If you want
to enable young green leaders, then this is the role for you.

Role specifics:

• Fixed term until August 2026
• 30 – 37 hours per week (with flexibility)
• Working hours to include evenings and weekends to cover events
• Based at our offices in Lymington but will work across the New Forest
• Valid driving licence and own transport is essential
