This role presents an exciting opportunity for a creative individual to bring their gifts with youth to LBC and Milton Keynes City, to shape the youth work to reflect the times we face.

We are looking for a youth leader for our young people aged 11 – 18 years old, to work with an existing volunteer team to create and lead the implementation of a youth strategy as we seek to encourage our youth in their faith and to disciple and equip them for service both in our church and the wider community.

Alongside this there is an opportunity to drive and lead community youth projects to serve the youth of Milton Keynes.

We as a church are committed to support and encourage you in your personal walk with the Lord, offer opportunities to attend relevant training courses, pension and 25 days annual leave.

This is a full time contract, although a job share of two part time positions would be considered.

If you are a Christian, actively involved in your local church and with 2 years’ experience of working with youth we would love to hear from you.

LBC is a lively and multi-cultural community of believers in Milton Keynes. As a Church we seek to prioritise the worship and witness of Jesus Christ. We are part of the Baptist Union and share their statement of faith.

There is a genuine occupational requirement that the post holder is a practicing Christian, holds a current DBS certificate or have the suitability to gain one and has the right to work in the UK.
