And by enabling clients to invest responsibly, it helps us to build a better world.About the departmentThe RFP Response function is responsible for coordinating and/or completing responses to requests for proposals for the firm’s services.About the roleAs the RFP Associate you will get the opportunity to assist in the delivery of RFPs, DDQs and RFIs to all client types and channels within the EMEA distribution Investments vector region. These will cover the full suite of asset classes and investment products offered giving you excellent exposure to our investments business.You will get the opportunity to build and develop positive working relationships with a range of departments and individuals throughout the company. Under supervision of senior staff, you will complete assigned tasks such as data gathering, data analysis and the preparation of response materials. You will assist in the delivery of new business proposals, consultant questionnaires and tenders for existing clients and will work within specified time-scales.Key ResponsibilitiesTo complete initial drafts of responses and co-ordinate and respond to the more standard RFPs and consultant questionnaires and information requests. Support sales and existing client business within abrdn, whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines at all times. Participate in various ad-hoc projects.Learn about key products and services offered by abrdnCreate and maintain good working relationships within the organisation (i.e., Legal, Client Reporting, Performance, Investment Specialists, Business Development Managers)Assisting in ongoing team projects & contribute to the development of processes & servicesOperate within a Compliance frameworkDeal with ad-hoc queries and requests for information efficiently and effectivelyContent Management – update and maintaining the QVidian database; ensure regular reviews with SMEs / key stakeholdersAbout the candidate requirementsKnowledge and interests in the financial industryAble to work well within a teamTime management skills, ability to manage and prioritise tasks in order to work to strict deadlinesAbility to access information from a variety of information sources and softwareEuropean language skills are desirableWe are proud to be a Disability Confident Committed employer.
