We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Consular and Crisis Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-impact environment where your analysis will help inform decision-making, improve operational performance, and support crisis management across a global network.
Working alongside experienced analysts and operational colleagues, you will help develop innovative reporting solutions, provide timely analytical support, and contribute to improving how data is used across the organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Develop Powerful Business Intelligence Solutions
Working closely with the Senior Data Analyst and Head of Team, you will play a key role in expanding our self-service reporting capability. You will design, develop and maintain Power BI reports that form part of the Integrated Real-time Intelligence System (IRIS), helping colleagues access the insights they need to make informed decisions.
You will manage the development process from requirements gathering through to delivery, becoming a subject matter expert within your area while working with a high degree of autonomy.
Provide High-Quality Data Analysis:
You will respond to a range of analytical requests, delivering accurate and timely insights to support:
- Freedom of Information (FOI) and Data Protection Act (DPA) requests
- Senior leadership briefings
- Corporate reporting and central submissions
- Operational performance monitoring
Build Strong Stakeholder Relationships
You will work with colleagues across the Consular and Crisis Directorate to understand business needs, identify opportunities for improved reporting, and promote data-driven decision-making. You will also help improve data literacy by supporting users to understand and make effective use of available information.
Support Crisis Response Activity
As part of the wider team, you will contribute to crisis response activity, delivering analytical support when rapid, evidence-based decisions are needed most.
Turn Data into Insight. Help Shape Critical Decisions.
Do you enjoy making sense of data and turning complex information into clear, actionable insights? Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your analytical skills in a role that directly supports operational delivery and crisis response?
Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity!
