AGE Platform Europe (AGE) brings together over one hundred organisations of and working for older people, with a mission to enable everyone to live a full and dignified life based on human rights and age equality throughout the life. To that end, we empower older people to get involved in debates on ageing and to impact policy making toward inclusive societies for all ages:
“We are the experts of our own lives. Our community is extremely diverse, but our difference is our strength when we speak together. As self-advocates, we have the potential to contribute expertise, skills and experience that enrich our societies and make them more just, inclusive and prosperous.”
To know more about our vision, mission, core values and principles, and advocacy goals, see AGE’s Strategy 2026-2030 ‘Towards a Society for All Ages’.
AGE is seeking a proactive and self-driven Partnerships and Fundraising Manager to identify and build the right partnerships to raise money which will help AGE to advance its mission.
You will expand our reach, enhance fundraising efforts and, eventually, create lasting impact for age equality in old age.
We are looking for a person with proven experience and tenacity, recognising that securing funds for the cause of age equality and the human rights of older people requires sustained effort and a creative approach.
Whether integrated into the AGE staff in Brussels or as a self-employed independent consultant, you will play a crucial role in diversifying our revenue streams. This effort is part of an initiative to reinforce external fundraising, supplementing contributions from AGE members and institutional grants.
With firsthand experience in managing an innovative fundraising environment, your passion and drive to make a difference and achieve results are crucial. These qualities will help progress towards the AGE’s vision of a Society for All Ages.
As Partnerships and Fundraising Manager, you will be expected to uphold the organisation’s vision and core values, as set out in its 2026–2030 strategy. This is a hands-on position and highly demanding role, in which will have the following key responsibilities:
Please submit to maciej.kucharczyk@age-platform.eu: a copy of your CV/resume, and a cover letter (maximum 300 words) outlining your interest in age equality throughout life and in the role and how you fulfil the requirements set out in this job announcement.
Only candidates shortlisted for interviews will be contacted.
The deadline for application: Sunday 16 August, 23:59 CEST (Brussels time)
Interviews (two rounds): Will take place online: first, in late September and, second, in October
Starting date: Ideally 1 November 2026
