Biological Science Technician (Wildlife)

This position is a TERM appointment not to exceed 2 years. This position may be extended in one year increments up to eight years and may be converted to a permanent appointment without further competition. 

• Implementation of wildlife and fisheries management techniques.
• Operating equipment such as tractors, All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), Utility Task Vehicles ( UTVs) and attachments to conduct wildlife and fisheries habitat management.
• Identifying and managing invasive plants.
• Implementation of wildland fire management.
• Interaction with the public to relay hunting and fishing information regarding Fort Knox program.
