For a future we can all trust.Say HI* – to your career asBusiness Unit and Operations Manager (m/w/d)(f/m/d)At the site Wutha-Farnroda(Further information can be found here: https://www.thales-dis-bps.de/index.php?id=home&L=0)Your missionDevelop strategic directions for our Payment Solution business unit, encompassing product development, manufacturing processes, personnel management, and overall business activitiesPlan and oversee hardware and software development and investmentCoordinate budget planning and financial statements with the external accounting firm, collaborating with sales, accounting, and HRLead commercial activities, manage corporate communications, and negotiate major client deals alongside the sales departmentProvide technical support to ensure effective sales team operationsOversee safety, occupational health, and fire protection regulationsManage daily operations across various departments and align marketing activitiesSpecify and procure necessary machinery and equipment, and oversee audits related to physical and data security and occupational safetyWe are looking forward toMinimum of 8 years of experience in strategic business development and operations management, preferably within the Payment Solutions industry or a similar technology sectorProven track record in managing product development, operations management, manufacturing processes, and technical teams.Strong understanding of hardware and software development processesProficiency in budget planning, financial analysis, and investment planningExceptional leadership skills with experience in personnel management and team coordinationAbility to lead commercial activities, negotiate with major clients, and handle tendersStrong negotiation and relationship-building skillsKnowledge of quality assurance practices and production managementFor our 77,000 employees in 68 countries we open up visionary perspectives, realise individual career paths and enable creative freedom.
