The Sourcing Manager will be instrumental in developing strategic sourcing plans to optimise procurement in the transport and distribution industry. This role requires a strong focus on supplier relationships, cost management, and risk mitigation.

• Developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans.
• Managing relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts to ensure optimal cost management.
• Identifying potential supply risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Collaborating with the procurement and supply chain team to meet company objectives.
• Analysing market trends and supplier performance to inform sourcing strategies.
• Contributing to sustainability goals by sourcing from environmentally responsible suppliers.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all sourcing activities.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure supply needs are met efficiently and effectively.

A successful Sourcing Manager should have:

• CAPEX or Facilities Management procurement exposure
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement practices.

• Excellent interpersonal skills for managing supplier relationships.
