We want to talk to you!Join our community.The role of Deposit Desk Manager is to support the TBL Origination team with the execution of transactional banking and liabilities products and retention of balances. SCCB has committed to an ambitious growth plan with significant focus given to capturing the right type of business to grow our customer portfolio, to build a sustainable and profitable bank.As the Deposit Desk Manager, you will play a key part in CCB’s strategy to retain liabilities balances. You will be responsible for managing funds maturing on Time Deposits and Notice Accounts to support the TB&L Team retention targets.The difference you’ll make:Perpetuating the relationship management of the customers’ deposit needs through on-going direct contact with the customer and close liaison with our Relationship Teams to support CCB liabilities target.Driving opportunities, building new balance pipeline to replace balance outflows and win back of lost balances, as well as following up on opportunities from product marketing activities and leads generated.Working alongside TB&L Originators and relationship teams in the local divisions on TB&L initiatives to drive delivery of solutions across the liabilities and transaction banking product suite.Delivering new sales and profitable income opportunities for deposit and transactional banking customer relationships against targets.Supporting the relationship directors in your area of the business by retention of balances and developing opportunities.What you’ll bring:Good knowledge of the market for wholesale deposit products in the UK.Ability to determine client needs and challenge status quo; ability to sell on both a transactional and a relationship basis.It would also be nice for you to have:Display a high level of resilience when changes do not run to plan.Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills; experience of building client relationships to add deeper valueAbility to work under pressure and to time constraintsStrategic mind-set – ability to think laterally, be innovative and find creative solutions.What else you need to know:We want our people to thrive at work and home, and we recognise that many people benefit from flexible arrangements.
