We currently have an exciting position on the Northern Beaches for a passionate individual who is dedicated to supporting our clients through compassionate care and empowerment.
Your duties will include:
- Supporting clients to develop and maintain independence, and advocate for the clients and their individual needs.
- Delivering personalised support by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication, manual handling using a variety equipment and aids.
- Transporting clients in our wheelchair accessible vans and pool cars.
Requirements
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of our unique customers.
- Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster; you will be required to work across morning, afternoon and active night shifts, including weekend and public holiday shifts.
- Experience supporting customers with intellectual disability, high physical support needs and medical / health needs.
- A current NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 minimum).
- Local to Northern Beaches areas, in particular suburbs listed above.
