Job Opportunity: Electrical Estimator
Location: Newry, County Down
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum
Type: Permanent

With over 40 years of experience across various sectors, including Industrial, Commercial, and Domestic Construction, this company offers a compelling opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to join their ranks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and submit compliant tenders using estimating templates/software within client deadlines.
• Report directly to the Senior Electrical Estimator, collaborating effectively within the Estimating Team.
• Resolve queries to secure projects efficiently.
• Cultivate and sustain a robust network of contacts.
• Facilitate the smooth handover of secured projects to the Contracts team, ensuring detailed BOQ & Budgets.

Experience Required:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Junior Electrical Estimator/QS within the Construction sector.
• Proficient secondary education, showcasing strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Technical expertise in electrical installations, spanning from domestic to large commercial/industrial projects.
• Competence in interpreting and analysing electrical drawings to determine project costs.
• Deadline-oriented mindset coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Solid IT proficiency.
