The Security & Traffic Management function of the EM has three core objectives:
The Emergency Management Coordinator is responsible for supporting the emergency management arrangements across all UNSW sites. The position will support the Emergency Manager in driving a culture of safety and providing day to day operational support. This will include responding to emergencies on campus, providing advice and support to emergency control organisations (ECO) and security teams on emergency management, developing and facilitating regular training exercises and drills, actively recruiting ECO members, ensuring plans and procedures are reviewed and updated promptly and communicated, undertaking regular stakeholder engagement and developing awareness programs. This position ensures that all decisions are made in accordance with the relevant rules, legislation, strategy, policies and procedures of the University, which may change or be adjusted from time to time.
The Emergency Management Coordinator reports to the Emergency Manager and has no direct reports.
