ABOUTTHELEARNINGANDMIGRATIONPROGRAM

TheLearningandMigrationProgram(LAMP)workswithchildrenatriskofdistressseasonalmigrationbyfacilitatingtheiraccesstoseasonalhostels,qualityeducationopportunities,whilealsotraining school teachers, and empowering communities on the Right to Education Act (2009).Technical partnerships with State Governments have provided the opportunity to replicate similarmodelsacrossothermigrationaffectedstates.Sinceitsinceptionin2004,LAMPhasimpacted

1.35 million children at risk of distress seasonal migration through access to quality educationopportunities;andsteered5,238villagesacross17StatesandUnionTerritoriesacrossIndiatoeliminateobstaclestoqualityeducation.

JOBSUMMARY

This role involves conducting training sessions for the field team, both online and offline, andassisting in the development of content related to foundational learning, grade appropriatelearning, and level learning. This role primarily involves supporting the team members in variouseducational initiatives specific to the assigned region. This includes conducting training sessionsfor the field team, both online and offline, and contributing to the development of content relatedtofoundationallearning,grade-appropriatelearning,andlevellearning.

Additionally, the incumbent will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of thetraining vertical within the department, including monitoring, providing continuous support to thefieldteam,andstreamliningtheprocesses.

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. TrainingDelivery:Conducttrainingsessionsforthefieldteam,ensuringthatbothonlineandofflinetrainingmethodologiesareeffectivelyemployed.
  2. ContentDevelopment:CollaboratewiththeCurriculumteamtodevelopeducationalcontentrelatedtofoundationallearning,grade-appropriatelearning,andlevellearning.
  3. Support to Field Team: Provide ongoing support and guidance to the field team, assistingtheminimplementingthetrainingcontenteffectively.
  4. Monitoring:Monitortheprogressandperformanceofthefieldteam,identifyingareasthatrequireimprovementandprovidingtimelyfeedback.
  5. ProcessEnhancement:WorkcloselywiththeTrainingandCurriculumOfficertostreamlinetrainingprocesses,makingthemmoreefficientandeffective.
  6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant feedback, andcontentdevelopmentprogress.

QUALIFICATIONREQUIRED

  1. Bachelor’s(B.Ed.)orMaster’sdegreeinEducation,orarelatedfield.
  2. Priorexperienceindeliveringeducationaltrainingprograms.
  3. Strongknowledgeoffoundationallearningconceptsandgrade-appropriatecurriculumdevelopment.
  4. Excellentcommunicationandpresentationskills.
  5. Abilityto work collaboratively withcross-functionalteams.
  6. Strongorganizational andproblem-solvingskills.
  7. Proficiencyinusingeducationaltechnologyandsoftwaretools.
  8. Stronglanguageskillsin Kannada&English.

DesirableExperience:

  1. Teachingexperienceinthefieldofeducation.
  2. FamiliaritywiththeeducationlandscapeinKarnataka.
  3. Experiencewithmonitoringandevaluationoftrainingprograms.
