Environment Manager – Norfolk

Company & Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and focused environmental professional to join
the Albanwise Environment Ltd team in Norfolk. Our landholdings are located in the north and
west of the county.

Albanwise Environment is a division of Albanwise & Wallace Estates Group which is a
diversified investment group focused on agriculture, property, renewable energy and
environmental services.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a detailed understanding of the opportunities to
deliver ecological services and environmental gain across our landholdings in Norfolk and those
of our clients.

Key Role & Responsibilities

  • Project Management – across our landholdings and those of our clients to develop, deliver
    and report on major environmental projects within Norfolk.
  • Environmental Stewardship & Environmental Land Management – to design and implement
    schemes and contracts through liaison with government agencies and NGO’s. Manage practical
    scheme delivery, with our internal farming and environment teams across our landholdings and
    those of our clients.
  • Consultancy – to provide environmental consultancy advice and services to our internal
    teams and to our clients across Norfolk.
  • To oversee environmental gains and enhancements to landscape value, biodiversity, and
    archaeological protection.

Key Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven Track Record in Project Management
  • Experience of environmental land management schemes and designated sites
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a small team
  • Exceptional organisational skills and strong time management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience of building strong and productive working relationships with
    clients, contractors and stakeholders
  • Experience of providing high quality advice to clients and stakeholders

Qualifications

A relevant degree in an environmental or land-based subject backed by wider corporate or public
sector experience in environmental land management and project management.
