| Pay Range Information | Chapman University is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position. This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Salary offers are determined based on the final candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and other internal factors. The anticipated pay range is not a promise of a particular wage. |
Position Summary Information
| Job Description Summary | Provides a broad range of executive level administrative support to the Vice President of Campus Planning and Design (VP CP&D). In a professional capacity, serves as a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention for details, and ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment. Serves as the primary point of contact between VP CP&D and the campus and external communities. Manages the VP CP&D’s schedule. Researches, prioritizes and follows up on multiple issues and open items addressed to the higher level executive. Provides support for, and prepares materials related to, Board-level committee activities. Manages the operational aspects of the office on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that the Office of CP&D runs in an efficient, responsive, and accurate manner. Coordinates the activities and manages operations of the Office of CP&D, including hiring and schedules of student assistants, handling expenses, and tracking operational budget. Receives and responds to communication, provides information, and directs questions and requests. Manages special projects as assigned. Ensures that projects, duties and responsibilities of the office are carried out in a responsive and service oriented manner. Develops procedures for the division. Performs other duties as needed. |
