Faculty Finance Manager

You are a positive and qualified accountant This position in provides an excellent opportunity to take a role in maximising the Finance Department’s effectiveness and ongoing contribution to the wider success of the University.

You will need to work across existing boundaries and develop strong collaborations with staff across the University at all levels. Sector experience isn’t a must, but a desire to make positive changes is, so if you have skills and experience which you think may be relevant, then we’d love to hear from you.

The Department of Finance provides a wide range of financial support across the whole University. Together with the Head of Finance, you will manage and lead the Faculty Finance Team for the Faculty of Health.

You will have some experience of managing and developing the skills of a diverse team and have experience of financial management in a complex organisation. You will support all aspects of the provision of high quality financial management and advice to the Faculty and its Schools, including business planning, budgetary control, forecasting and management of external funding.

You will have outstanding interpersonal skills and will demonstrate an aptitude to collaborative working and supporting positive change. You will be an engaged team player, delivering results through both challenge and support of colleagues at all levels.
