James C. Raymond was a high school dropout who served in the Korean War. He passed the entrance exams for Ohio State, graduated, and had a successful career in TV, radio, and film writing. The James C. Raymond Scholarship was created to provide scholarship support for ASU students.

This scholarship is administered and awarded externally by the ASU Foundation.
