Impact Hub Berlin is looking for a People and Culture Junior Manager to attract, hire, retain, engage, evaluate, and develop talent (people) while creating great conditions for collaboration (culture) that contribute to Impact Hub Berlin’s mission and financial sustainability. With our new space for impact entrepreneurs having opened only a year and a half ago and our growing team, you’ll be supporting us at a key moment in our growth journey!

We are Europe’s largest Impact Hub – a 3,500m2, circularly-built and run coworking space in Berlin, Neukölln – and we want you to be a part of making impact work.

Your deliverables

  • Assess the business’s staffing needs and coordinate the recruiting process on our ATS from job definition and interviews to hiring new employees;
  • Develop a KPI Dashboard and prepare reports;
  • Create roadmaps and materials for specific projects, collaborating with other teams in the process;
  • Understand the needs of our team to make a proposal for topics to address at our monthly Courage Circles (60-90 minutes meetings where we speak about deeper topics and our working culture)
  • Support the organization of team trainings, as well as integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in our daily work

Your qualifications and skills

  • Experience as a Staff Assistant or similar junior People and Culture role
  • Good understanding of full-cycle recruiting
  • Good knowledge of labor legislation
  • Organizational skills and a structured way of working
  • Abitlity to work in both English and German (our working language is English but German is key for this position)
  • You have a sharp eye for detail and design, with some experience in copy-writing, creating photo and/or video content.
  • BSc in Human Resources Management or related field is a plus
