A leading Manchester law firm is currently looking to recruit an experienced Legal Emerging Talent Lead to work as part of its recruitment team focusing on the firms graduate recruitment programme.
You will work closely with a number of key internal stakeholders on the development and implementation of the firm’s emerging talent strategy.
There will also be significant collaboration with the firms Head of Learning & Development, Recruitment Manager, the wider HR team and Professional Support Lawyers.
**You will be required to have a minimum of 12 months relevant experience with evidence of applicable transferable skills having been developed – for example, this is likely to include working in graduate recruitment and/or a HR advisory and/or a learning & development role, within a professional services environment**
The firm offers hybrid working (4 days in the office with the option to work 1 day from home), competitive salary banding and a benefits package including 25 days holidays, season ticket loan, sports and social events and free travel insurance.
Duties include
Successfully implementing the firms plan to transition from a traditional LPC Training Contract model to a rolling SQE Graduate Apprenticeship Programme (in partnership with an external training provider).
Enabling the firm to attract, select and secure the best possible emerging talent including junior apprenticeship roles (legal and non-legal), graduate apprentices and paralegals
Creating and maintaining engaging emerging talent recruitment content
Representing the on webinars, at open days/fairs and proactively engaging with career services as needed
Organising selection events to enable us to choose the best candidates and provide them with a favourable impression of the firm
Developing and delivering an effective work experience or vacation scheme programme to attract future talent
Supporting the effective onboarding, induction and development of emerging talent
Working with HR Operations and University of Law to support the new starter and onboarding process
Co-ordinating the delivery of the SQE Apprentice/Trainee Solicitor induction
Facilitating the ongoing development of our newly qualified solicitors (predominantly 0 – 4 years PQE) and wider emerging talent (paralegals and other junior talent)
