Key competences and experience

MEDEF is looking for a EU Senior Manager to reinforce the Brussels office.

The responsibilities of the selected candidate will include among others:

• Monitoring and analyzing legislative and regulatory developments within the EU institutions and, when relevant, in cooperation with the headquarters;
• Preparation of- and reporting on- internal and external meetings;
• Developing of advocacy material, including visuals, internal briefing documents and position papers;
• Helping to promote the positions towards the European Institutions;
• Contributing to the organisation of conferences and workshops;
• Contributing to the weekly internal newsletter and other communication material.

Required skills and qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field (European law/Politics, Political science, etc.);
• At least 10 years of professional experience in EU affairs;
• Full professional proficiency in French and English with excellent writing skills;
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;
• A flexible and proactive attitude to work combined with an autonomous working style;
• Ability to thrive under pressure and keep to tight deadlines;
• Team player, able to build good working relationships with colleagues;
• Collaborative approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
• A service-minded approach;
• Recognized commitment to ethics and transparency.
