- $150,000 – $160,000 (plus super and salary packaging)

Come join Good Shepherd as our new National Financial Wellbeing Specialist to help steward an audacious strategy of innovation and disruption to drive better financial wellbeing outcomes for women, children and families.
Role Purpose
The role will drive the design and development of new service partnerships and alliances within the Financial Wellbeing sector, government, corporate, and community organisations. They will represent Good Shepherd and foster networks at senior levels, nationally and locally.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Client Services, the Good Shepherd Institute and Ecosystem Enablement to lead and steward an audacious strategy of innovation and disruption for financial wellbeing for women, children and families.
- Lead the overall Financial Wellbeing sector engagement strategy aligned with the organisation’s mission, vision and long-term strategic objectives.
- Take the lead in identifying, cultivating, and nurturing partnerships with stakeholders including government agencies, corporate entities, and community organisations that have a part to play in promoting financial wellbeing.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance GSANZ’s presence and impact within the financial wellbeing sector, aligning partnership and alliance efforts such as our Financial Inclusion Action Plan (FIAP) Program with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to explore opportunities for joint initiatives, funding opportunities, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
About you
- Diploma of Financial Counselling, social work or equivalent qualifications.
- At least 10 years of leadership and innovation experience delivering services within the broader field of financial wellbeing and to support people living on a low-income (financial counselling, financial inclusion, asset-building and financial capability).
- Proven track record of successfully developing and nurturing strategic partnerships including government agencies, corporate entities, community organisations, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in program and partnership design and development, preferably with networked models of service delivery.
