We have an exciting opportunity to join our Sales Operations Team as an Online Stock Executive on a full time, permanent basis.

As an Online Stock Executive you will support the business by reviewing, monitoring and tracking inbound volumes to Amazon alongside consumer sales to support key decision making.

This role is working exclusively with Amazon on the UK and EU storefront, ensuring that our books are available for purchase and monitoring Amazon sales data across both storefronts.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be numerate, detail orientated, and able to use feedback and data analysis to make informed decisions and take calculated risks. You will also be a great communicator with strong relationship building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of BTR order tracking and performance monitoring to defined targets
  • Manage queries from the divisional teams as relates to stock and availability on Amazon
  • Communicating key performance metrics to relevant audiences
  • Monitor and analyse sales from specific publicity slots; tracking increases to inform future decision making
  • Review seasonal sales events and prepare forecasts for future stock requirements
  • Support the Online Stock Manager with new title launch planning and weekly divisional meetings with responsibilities to lead on specific divisions.
  • Ownership of reviewing pricing queries and processing promotional payments and claims working with colleagues including Credit Services, Retail Advertising Teams, Group Finance and Sales supporting the Sales Operations Co-ordinator
  • Liaise with Amazon AVS contact to resolve issues
  • Owns creation and management of process documentation for the Amazon Sales Operations Team
  • Cover for the Online Stock Manager as required.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Relevant experience of sales and/or inventory in a fast moving supply chain
  • Advanced excel skills is essential and a readiness to pick up new systems
  • You will need to be proactive and forward thinking to anticipate situations that may arise and be a reactive problem solver to those that are unexpected.
  • Able to inspire trust and confidence in others, specifically key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Proactive, conscientious and resourceful.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, and on building relationships with a wide range of contacts both internally and externally

The team:

The online stock team is a small team which sits within the larger Sales Operations team, part of the Group Sales divison. We are focused on delivering sales goals and using data for informed decision making and planning. Future progression could include more senior roles within Sales Operations, the wider Sales team or Inventory functions.

Salary: circa £30,000 depending on how your experience and skills align to the role
