The Role

This is a critical role for the business, managing all storage, warehouse, and material flow functions throughout all areas of the business locations onsite whilst ensuring 100% on time in full delivery of products.
This is a fast paced and busy role which demands a high-level people management experience, and the ability to make things happen, from customer order to delivery to customer. Ensuring all materials are available to produce the orders then liaising with all the touch points throughout the business to manage targets and SLA`s, supporting the production teams with the correct supply and flow of materials and stillage.
Ensuring all racking is adequate and compliant within SEMA regulations and identifying and implementing cost reductions, waste management and recycling opportunities.
Take owner ship of the logistics processes from planning, efficiencies, material movements, managing MHE & LGVs onsite as well as monitoring costs, driver performance, and collate data to support and monitor all of the PC&L processes.
Managing, developing, coaching, and mentoring individuals, setting up visual control management systems for materials, and be able to analyse and report this data to the Senior Leadership team, agree and set and measure performance with the team and use this information to pro actively identify, current and potential bottlenecks.
Work to create a world-class working environment including warehouse, yard and WIP areas.

The Person

You will be an experienced Production Controller and Logistics Manager from a fast-moving business with 1st Tier automotive exposure. Be highly efficient on MRP/ERP systems, and be able to use Sage, have great knowledge of Excel and Microsoft, and be highly effective warehouse, logistics, material flow and be an experienced people and MHE/LGV fleet manager.
You will be an excellent people manager and a great communicator at all levels
