Job Description Summary We’re looking for two Homes Retention Managers (one permanent and one 12 month secondment) who will play a key role in delivering engagement and retention processes that optimise both commercial and conduct performance.

The Homes team collectively own a mortgage book of over £300bn, supporting 2.5m customers to buy their homes, which is the biggest portfolio in the UK. In this role, you’ll work in the team responsible for existing mortgage, and constructing personalised engagement strategies and propositions to improve.

The teams remit spans all LBG mortgage brands, from Halifax to Scottish Widows. We shape how we help Homes meet its ambitions. We’re accountable for the definition and delivery of strategic priorities for Homes existing customers, enhancing commercial performance through building customer understanding, and have both a keen eye for detail and the ability to see big picture solutions.

Day to day you’ll be focussing on current mortgage customers with LBG, you’ll have responsibility for delivering engagement and retention processes that optimise both commercial and conduct performance.

This requires:

  • Working cross functionally to implement a compelling communication strategy that engages customers throughout the lifecycle of their mortgage, increasing attachment to the Brand.
  • Understanding key customer engagement & retention processes and policies and finding opportunities to optimise and improve these journeys.
  • Analysis of trends in customer behaviour, product performance data, and evaluating competitors propositions to develop the best possible solutions to build a balanced, customer centric competitive advantage.
  • A deep understanding of mortgage commercial drivers, design and deliver key engagement & retention initiatives. share standard process with colleagues on major deals or tender renewals.

About you:

Ideally you’ll have experience with Product management and Mortgages product knowledge.

  • You’re an accomplished influencer at all levels, adept at communicating and with well-developed partner leadership skills.
  • You collaborate across different teams, and lead & inspire colleagues to deliver high quality outputs with positive tangible impact.
  • You’re comfortable taking a both a qual and quant data driven approach to finding opportunities for change.
  • You seek out and consider the voice of the customer when defining priorities and output, adept at balancing this with the commercial imperative.
  • You provide thought leadership, taking a broad approach, and with a proven record of past process improvement.
  • You have experience of owning the design, shaping and successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects.
