As a Risk Assurance Consultant, you’ll undertake reviews of customer interactions, calls, transactions and business outputs.
You’ll play a key part in Santander’s first line of defence, contributing to the wider Assurance and Control team, to mitigate risks, improve customer outcomes and experience and ensure regulatory control and process adherence.
The difference you’ll make:
Managing risk, considering the wider impact when identifying issues, for both the customer and the company (such as conduct risk, operational risk, credit risk.)
Analysing intelligence as part of the assurance process, recognising and escalating trends and emerging issues where appropriate
Communicating professionally both verbally and in writing, using clear, concise language using the Simple, Personal and Fair guidelines. Ability to adapt style and language appropriately to the situation and audience
Collaborating well with others in the team and across wider Assurance & Control team
Maximise effectiveness by working in a positive and supportive way with colleagues
What you’ll bring.
DipPFS or equivalent Level 4 qualification
Confident communicator with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues at all levels
It would also be nice for you to have.
Excellent knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements and a good knowledge of Santander’s products process and procedures
Ability to take ownership and accountability of own workload.

Our preferred location for this role is Milton Keynes, and current expectation is at least 2 days in an office every week.

How we’ll reward you.
For part-time / contract roles, your salary, bonus (where eligible) and certain benefits will be prorated to reflect your working hours / contract duration.
£500 annual cash allowance to spend on our great range of benefits.
We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer
27 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 28 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year
