We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.This is a permanent, full time position.The shift pattern for this position is Mon-Fri.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 37hrs Band 7 position within Ward 15 in RAH.The role would be to support the Lead Nurse to provide Clinical Leadership and Management within the current nursing team, deliver expertise in all aspects of service delivery at a senior nurse level.The post requires an individual who is highly motivated, shows excellent leadership skills and can use their own initiative. Someone who is open to new ideas and can lead an established team. The post requires someone that can develop the service and implement change while maintaining a safe structured working environment.The post holder will ensure that high standards of care are developed, implemented, and maintained, by ensuring clinical governance adherence and aiding in the development of all staff within the department. This ensures safe and effective gold standard practice for our patients. Key skills includes being able motivate and lead a dynamic team, acting as a senior role model to all members of the multi-disciplinary team, whilst creating a positive learning environment.The post holder will have demonstrable experience as a senior registered nurse in an inpatient setting and be able to communicate clearly and confidently with patients, relatives and members of staff.
